Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Originating from Worthington Ohio, she left high school to move to Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. Her first role came to her as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001 despite struggling with finances. Her portrayal as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she was the main cast member for the first two seasons winning an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to focus on a more significant role in film, appearing in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. She appeared as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) in Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. She played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two more episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. The actress was featured in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith who's an avid stargazer as well as a socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her.
