In 2007 she debuted on television as a character in The Black Donnellys. In 2010-2013, she was Jade West in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. She was a lead character in the FX's Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll series (2015-16). Elizabeth Egan Gillies is a New Jersey native who was born on July 26, 1993. Her family is located in Haworth. There is also one younger brother born in 1996. She has partial Italian ancestry. Elizabeth Gillies graduated from Haworth Public School. Elle Fanning made her acting debut in 2001's thriller I Am Sam as the younger sibling to Dakota Fanning. The actress appeared in a variety of films as a teen such as Babel (2007) The Button: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) Phoebe in Wonderland 2008 as well as Babel (2006). In 2010, she received a nomination for the Critics Choice Movie Awards for the best young actress for her role in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. She received an award called a Spotlight Award by the Hollywood film festival in 2011 for playing the leading role of the film Super 8. The role she played was the main one in We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
